Most of the time, or well, for the agents who HAVE been signed, the offers are slightly off from what's wanted, leaving Andre to consult the owner of the team that won bid with the offer that the player wants, for instance, Tzcagabe was offered around 20 Million total, but wanted 51 Million total (HUGE difference).
In order to prevent this, Andre and I have devised two ways:
Way 1: I or Andre, will post the amount that a player requests once a topic is started on bid. In other words, we'll use Jerry Rice, Andre or myself, will look at the price that Rice asks for in Madden, and then place that in the first post of that topic, by editing of course. Instead of offering a contract when one begins a bid topic, one will post, "Team A Offers Player A:" the rest will be filled in by Andre or me. From there, that will be the offer, and others may offer off of that offer, if the one who placed bid would like to withdraw, they may do so.
Way 2: GMs will PM me or Andre if they want a certain player, from there, Andre or I will create a topic saying, "Player A requests X amount of money, for Y amount of years, and a signing bonus of Z, Team A wishes to make an offer" and from there, the thread will start.
------------
Option 3:
I will create a category named: "Free Agency", under there will be a general Rules board, that wil be locked and can only be viewed.
Then the various posistions will be different forums, as in there will be a QB FA forums, RB FA Forum, etc.
inside each forum, I will post each player in the pool in that category, and will post their desired amount.
From there people will make offers in that topic, and 3 days will begin once the first person posts an offer.
Option 4: Keep it the same, it's perfectly fine, just PM you if they want a salary adjustment to the offer.
So it's all up to you.
Poll closes Saturday night, until then, FA will continue to run as planned.
